The atemoya is a hybrid fruit that is a cross between the cherimoya and the sugar apple, both of which are native to South America. It has a green, scaly skin and a creamy, white flesh with a sweet, tropical flavor that is often compared to vanilla or pineapple. The atemoya is rich in vitamins and minerals, and is often eaten fresh or used to make juice or smoothies. It is a popular fruit in many countries, including the Philippines, Thailand, and the United States, and is often grown in tropical and subtropical regions.
