All Summer, also known as Marlys, is a mango developed through the breeding work of Gary Zill in Boynton Beach, Florida. It originated as a seedling of Zill-80 (planting designation DW-10). The cultivar was named in honor of Marly Zill, Gary Zill’s sister and the daughter of Laurence Zill. The later name, All Summer, reflects its tendency toward an extended fruiting period compared to many traditional Florida varieties.

The fruit are large and attractively rounded, with red-blushed skin reminiscent of classic Haden-type mangos. Average fruit weight typically ranges from 1.5 to 2 pounds. The flesh is yellow, smooth, and completely fiberless, surrounding a monoembryonic seed. Flavor is distinctly traditional Florida in character, often compared to Kent, with a balanced sweetness and noticeable stone fruit undertones that appeal to fans of classic mango profiles.

Trees exhibit a spreading form with moderate vigor and have shown good fruit set and dependable production in recent seasons. In Florida, ripening generally occurs during mid-season, with most fruit maturing in July. While long-term disease resistance is still being evaluated, All Summer appears to have some susceptibility to bacterial spot and fruit rot, making site selection and good airflow important for best performance.

With its attractive fruit, classic flavor, and reliable cropping, All Summer stands out as a promising mid-season mango that fits well into traditional Florida collections, especially for growers seeking larger fruit and an extended harvest window.
