Banganapalli is a mango cultivar from southern India, primarily Andhra Pradesh, but also grown in Telangana and Tamil Nadu. Depending on the region, it is known by other names, including Baneshan (distinct from Alampur Baneshan) and Safeda. It is highly regarded for its quality and flavor in its native regions.

The fruit are kidney-shaped, medium-sized, and ripen to a yellow color. They are highly aromatic, with a fragrance that intensifies as the fruit matures. Flesh is fiberless, sweet, and medium-bodied, displaying an Indian/Alphonso–type flavor rich in spice. The seed is monoembryonic.

Banganapalli trees in Florida exhibit a moderately vigorous growth habit with a spreading, open canopy, flat leaves, and relatively thin stems. Flowering occurs readily, though early blooms can produce an excess of male flowers, while later blooms are more likely to set fruit. The variety is highly susceptible to powdery mildew, a common issue for southern Indian mangoes.

Banganapalli is classified as an Mid to Late-season mango, typically ripening from late May through June.
