Carrie is a mango cultivar that originated as a seedling of Sophie Frey and a grandchild of the Julie mango. It was selected by the Zill family in the 1940s from a field planting in the Boynton/Delray Beach area of Florida and named after Carrie Zill, mother of Laurence Zill.

The fruit are small-to-medium, oval-shaped, and yellow at maturity, although inland-grown fruit may remain partially green when ripe. Flesh is orange, fiberless, and contains a monoembryonic seed. Carrie is known for its strong, distinctive flavor, with a pronounced spice component that appeals to many people from India and the West Indies. Fruit are early season, generally ripening from May through July, and should be allowed to soften on the tree for optimal flavor. Once ripe, they have a very short window for consumption due to extreme softness and susceptibility to bruising.

Trees have a low-to-moderate vigor growth habit with a spreading, dense canopy. Carrie can be susceptible to newer strains of anthracnose, particularly in interior Florida, and early blooms may produce a high ratio of male flowers, affecting fruit set. On the other hand, the cultivar is resistant to bacterial spot and rot.
