Crimson Delight is a mango believed to be a seedling of Zill-80, originating from the former property of Laurence Zill in Lantana, Florida.
The fruit are medium-to-large, round, and develop a striking bright red color at maturity. Flesh is sweet with a balanced acidity, classic in flavor, and contains a monoembryonic seed. Fruit typically mature mid-season, around July.
Trees are moderately vigorous with a vertical, open canopy. Crimson Delight shows good resistance to anthracnose but is moderately susceptible to bacterial black spot.
