Excalibur is an early-season mango selected by Richard and Linda Wilson of Lantana, FL, likely a Dot seedling based on its flavor and aroma, though some reports suggest Carrie as a possible parent. The fruit are small-to-medium, yellow at maturity, with soft, fiberless flesh and a monoembryonic seed. The trees have a moderate growth rate with a spreading, open canopy.
Excalibur produces consistently strong crops. The flavor is classic, aromatic, and well-balanced. The variety shows excellent disease resistance, with no notable issues.
