Gao Lim Krong is a mango from Thailand, obtained from a nursery in southwest Florida. The fruit are elongated with yellow skin and slightly smaller than similar Thai varieties like Ivory, but the flesh is darker and the flavor is superior. The seed is thin, polyembryonic, and the flesh is fiberless.
The tree grows slowly, making it suitable as a dwarf option, with a spreading growth habit and dense canopy. It is very disease resistant, making it a strong choice for growers who want a compact, Thai-flavored mango with excellent flavor early in the season.
