Ivory, originally from Thailand and also known locally as Nang Klang Wan, is an elegant mango that has played a role in the parentage of varieties like Maha Chanok and Jin Huang/Golden Queen. The fruit is medium-sized and long-oblong, maturing to a greenish-yellow color.
The flesh is pale, exceptionally sweet, fiberless, and mild in flavor, with a natural sweetness reminiscent of sugar cane. The seed is very thin and polyembryonic.
Trees are vigorous with upright growth and dense foliage. They are slow to begin fruiting but become consistent producers once mature.
Ivory is a mid-season variety in Florida, typically ripening from late June through July.
