Jaya is a mango from Brevard County, Florida. It is believed to be a Banganapalli seedling with an Indian/West Indian–type flavor. The original tree reportedly flowers and fruits off-season.
The tree has a spreading growth habit with an open canopy and exhibits low-to-moderate vigor. The fruit flesh is yellow, fiberless, and contains a monoembryonic seed. It flowers readily, and production appears consistent.
