Lovely is a mango cultivar that originated as a seedling at Truly Tropical (Florida) and has entered the nursery trade under that name. The fruit are described as small (about 8–13 oz), olive green to yellow at maturity, with fiberless flesh and a flavour profile that is sweet and rich with subtle peach and apricot notes, alongside a classic Indian‑type sweetness. It is noted for having a pleasant lingering aftertaste and is marketed as a juicy, easy‑eating mango. The fruit tend to ripen around June in Florida. The trees are described as small in stature with good disease resistance, making Lovely a potential candidate for growers with limited space.
Because “Lovely” is a relatively new, local Florida selection rather than a traditional or long‑established cultivar from a major mango‑growing region, there isn’t a lot of historical or global information about it yet beyond nursery listings and grower reports.
