Nam Doc Mai Mun is a Thai mango cultivar closely related to the well-known Nam Doc Mai, though it exhibits its own unique traits. Its exact parentage is unconfirmed, but it is often suggested to be a cross between Nam Doc Mai and Keow Savoy. The fruit is large, sometimes exceeding 1.5 kg, earning it the nickname “jumbo mango.” It retains the signature Thai flavor profile with pronounced honey and floral notes, while its firmer flesh offers improved handling and longer shelf life, making it ideal for fresh eating and culinary applications.
