Peach Mango – Likely related to the early Homestead “Stringless Peach,” this variety is not entirely stringless, containing a small amount of fiber. It may have originated from a turpentine-type mango in the early 20th century and became popular in South Florida due to its polyembryonic seeds, which allow easy propagation from seed.

The fruit is small and very round, ripening to yellow with soft, light-yellow flesh. The flavor is moderately sweet with a peachy-classic profile, though the flesh-to-seed ratio is limited.

The tree grows moderately vigorously with a spreading canopy and is a reliable producer. The fruit is too small for commercial markets and can be moderately to severely susceptible to bacterial spot.

Season: Early, May through July
Flavor: Classic
Country: Florida – USA
