TOP TIER MANGO ALERT!!!
Sein Ta Lone, also known as "Diamond Solitaire" or "Guava" mango, originates from Myanmar where it is grown commercially for export throughout Asia. It is unrelated to the Florida Zill ‘Diamond’ (HW-14). The fruit are small-to-medium, oval to ovate, with yellow skin and no red blush. The flesh is firm, fiberless, and sweet, exhibiting a complex flavor that blends both Indian and Indochinese characteristics. The seed can be polyembryonic.
The trees are fairly vigorous with spreading, open canopies and large, distinctively-shaped leaves. Fruit production has been consistent under evaluation in Florida, and the variety shows good disease resistance.
