Shweyazama is a mango originating from Myanmar and was introduced to the United States alongside several other Burmese cultivars through the efforts of Maurice Kong. The variety gained attention after a notably productive specimen was observed at the Miami-Dade Fruit & Spice Park in Homestead, Florida, leading to its wider evaluation and propagation.

The fruit are medium to large in size, ovate in shape, and ripen to a solid yellow color. The flesh is firm, completely fiberless, and clean-cut, containing a large monoembryonic seed. Eating quality falls squarely in the Saigon / Indochinese-hybrid flavor group, offering a mild, smooth sweetness without heavy acidity or resin.

Shweyazama has shown a strong tendency toward regular fruiting once established. The tree exhibits vigorous growth with a vertical structure and dense canopy, and has demonstrated excellent resistance to common mango diseases under Florida conditions.
