Zebda is an Egyptian mango that is widely cultivated throughout Egypt, where it is commonly allowed to ripen very soft and is frequently used for beverages and processing.

The fruit are medium-sized and ovate, turning a dull yellow at full ripeness, though they may remain light green when grown away from coastal influences. The flesh is very soft, melting, and completely fiberless, with a floral, syrupy sweetness characteristic of several Egyptian mango types. The seed is polyembryonic, and the fruit shows good shelf life when harvested at the mature-green stage.

Trees are vigorous growers with a spreading, dense canopy. While Zebda has the potential to be productive, flowering can be inconsistent in warm winters, a trait shared with many Egyptian cultivars.

Zebda shows strong anthracnose resistance and is considered a mid-season mango, typically ripening from late June through July.
