The origins of this mango are unknown, but it has shown some unusual and noteworthy traits in cultivation. A tree planted in 2017 demonstrated early bearing without any apparent setback to vegetative growth, even when allowed to mature fruit at a young age. (According To Tropical Acres Farm)
The fruit are small, yellow, and sigmoid-shaped, with fiberless flesh and a very good Indochinese-hybrid flavor. While the off-season fruiting habit initially suggested a possible connection to Thai everbearing types such as Chokanon or Sam Ru Du, the flavor profile does not align with typical Thai mangoes, lacking their characteristic floral-honey notes.
This mango appears best regarded as a distinct, unnamed cultivar rather than a known Thai type. Its consistent production and quality flavor indicate real potential, particularly for those interested in Indochinese-flavored mangos with the ability to produce outside the normal season.
