This mango originated from Gary Zill’s breeding program in Boynton Beach, Florida and is a seedling of ‘Zill Indochinese’, with ‘Carrie’ suspected as a possible pollen parent based on flavor and growth characteristics.
The fruit are small to medium in size, oval-shaped, and ripen to a clean yellow color. The flesh is yellow, completely fiberless, and carries a distinct Indochinese flavor profile, with similarities to Duncan and Philippine/Carabao–style mangos—mildly sweet, aromatic, and approachable.
The original selection is noted for being a strong and consistent producer, and subsequent evaluations have confirmed regular fruiting and good performance once established.
This variety represents a solid example of the Indochinese flavor group, combining reliable production with pleasant eating quality.
